Set up two-step authentication on Stripe

Your Stripe Dashboard moves money, so Stripe asks for two-step authentication. OTPilot can be the authenticator app: it saves the account from Stripe's setup flow and fills the code when you sign in.

Add an authenticator app

  1. In the Stripe Dashboard, open your Personal details page.
  2. In the Two-step authentication section, select Add authentication method and choose an authenticator app.
  3. Stripe shows a QR code. OTPilot detects it and offers to save the account: click Add account. If the prompt doesn't appear, show the setup key on the site instead, then in OTPilot click + → 2FA code: paste the key, give it a name, enter dashboard.stripe.com as the site (so the code fills there), and click Save.
  4. Enter the current code from OTPilot to confirm.
  5. Store the backup code Stripe gives you somewhere safe.

Stripe recommends adding more than one authentication method, so losing one never locks you out.
